Vomiting : Causes, Prevention and Home Remedies

. If you think you might get vomiting, then have one cup of ginger tea by adding very little sugar in it.

. If you are drunk and want to prevent vomiting from happening, then eat plain bread. Bread will take care of your digestive tract and will absorb the alcohol.

. Drinking one can of cola will also give relief from vomiting. But first bring the cola at room temperature.

. Eat oranges along with black salt will help in preventing the feeling of vomiting.

. Drinking limejuice is also one of the very effective home remedies for vomiting.

. Take a lemon and cut it into halves and sprinkle the rock salt and lick, this will also helps to avoid vomiting.

. Keep some cloves in your mouth. This is also very beneficial to treat vomiting.

. Take one teaspoon of onion juice, after every two hours; this method is also very effective to get rid from vomiting.

. Add some honey in one glass of water and drink this glass of water. This simple remedy is also very beneficial in the treatment of vomiting.

. Boil 1/2 cup of rice in 1 cup of water. After rice cooked, strain the water and drink. This will also help you in vomiting.

. Avoid solid consumption for first 12 hours and consume liquids as much as you can like water and juices.

. Smell an orange peel or take a piece of hard candy.

. Simmer a small piece of crushed ginger and a few basil leaves in a cupful of water. Strain the mixture, add honey, and sip hot or cold. Drink a half cup at a time, but do not drink it all in one go.

. Mint tea, with two ground cloves and a trace of nutmeg is also soothing and leaves a pleasant taste in the mouth.
